Grab the closest book
A fellow Facebookista posts, The rules: Grab the closest book to you, turn to page 52, post the 5th sentence as your status. Don't mention the title ... I do so but am not impressed by p52, sentence 5. I hunt about and choose: "I was about to speak, when Carrie, in a temper such as I have never seen her in before, told me to hold my tongue."
The reaction from my 'Friends' is prompt and impressed. I don't think they have the faintest idea what it is about.

bravo. what other book to quote from, altho caroline deliberately sought 52 pages of 5th line grey to drive the clerks crazy.
