Six years tomorrow: arrived in Corfu to serve my mother as live-in caregiver.

Worst mistake I could have made, couldn't have invented a more painful crushing humiliating thankless dignity-stripping job.

Did I include humiliating? Plus the frigging gardenry.

Now begins the healing - so they say. I've told my shrink to let me know the moment he spots a scintilla of improvement.
