Sint-Job-in-'t-Goor

More like "Sint-Job-in-'t-GORE, if you ask me.

My eye was caught by the wonderful name of the 'quiet village' in which Mistress Lucrezia ran her dungeon, but as I read more I realised what a gem of a story this is.

  • Ee, lad, it's not every day you get a quote of the modesty of, “I am sadistic, intelligent, and perverse. In my nature I am a sadist of the worst kind.”

  • Or the demure handle of “Europe's most perverted dominatrix”

  • A personal ad from a “creative artist perverted sadist” offering “bondage, humiliation, torture, education and cross-dressing”.

  • And the eminently titillating tidbit that "Police who searched the property ... found some of the most extreme sado-masochistic equipment they had ever seen."

    Quick! Show me da Polaroids!

“It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys of London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside”
