"The smart set were out in force last night for the preview of Countess Milly Flamburiari's paintings opened by Princess Michael of Kent at Partridge Fine Art in Bond Street.

Milly and her husband Spiro are neighbours of the Rothschilds, with a huge villa nearby. Lord Rothschild, Spiro's business partner Sir Simon Orr-Ewing, writer Andrew Sinclair and his wife Sonia Melchett were there. Everyone was sorry that George Osborne probably won't be in C again after his meeting with Peter Mandelson, Nat Rothschild and Oleg Deripaska on that yacht."
