CARTOONS

  • Rather good cartoons, as a matter of fact
  • Captionless
  • Always a test and a good sign
  • OK, the wretched things stick for the first few minutes and then vanish.

At least let me find the one that most 'resonates' with me, the Beachy Head shadow suicidista

And while I'm about it, try this link and see how you go.

Otherwise, bad luck. They were quite smart and some even moving.

And moving on, Mr 'Sin' Baddeley is vexed to miss the confab on The History and Culture of the Ionian Islands 16-21 May, 2010.

It does indeed look fun and I plug it here because I'm a wede about sucking up to Richard and Alexina.

Daughter's Wedding ~ muah ha ha! Dowry!

Lecture alert ~ Mlud Badders himself,

"giving a short talk at Richard Pine's invitation on the evening of 3 Feb next at a break in one of the Durrell School wine and chat evenings off Philhellene Street in town - on the character of different Lord High Commissioners, action and reaction from Ionians during the British Protectorate - seriously, just a chat, no long words and praying cleverer people will fill in the gaps in my knowledge of local history."

Can't see 'em. By the way this looks fun. I'm vexed I'll be back in UK (daughter's wedding) for this conference on The History and Culture of the Ionian Islands 16-21 May, 2010
