Barbarians at the Fence

Having spotted advance work over the weekend to demolish my neighbour's border fence and widen the road for what I now find is to be some major construction further up round the corner, I snapped away to capture the full horror.

As you can see, someone did a pretty good job of flattening the earth and making it easy for the lorries to get by.

You should have seen the bemused expressions on de Bono's boys when they turned up 0730hrs Monday morn.

Fany de B's photos are still hanging in the envelope from the gatepost, so I assume he is in his Thessaloniki hideaway.

As an emergency measure, the builders straightway set about erecting some fences - not 100% sure what for, but it seemed to be part of their salvage strategy.
